Nikivias Goode has over 10 years of experience working with children and adults with Intellectual and developmental disabilities.  Nikivias was introduced to the field as a    Respite Counselor for The Greater Richmond ARC.  Nikivias states “I loved it from the very first moment. I immediately knew that this was what I wanted to do, to help people get fulfillment out of life and to have fun doing it!”  Nikivias went on to supervise an Adult Day Support Program providing supports with the development of a variety of life enhancing skills.  Later she became the Baker Services Adult Day Support and Afterschool programs.  Nikivias attributes her Program Manager for Camp tenure with working with people with special abilities (in her words) to her compassion for others and her desire to see others succeed.

Shannon Harris Robertson, MSW, MPA joined the Ithiel Group in 2013. As Program Manager of Community Mental Health Services (mental health skill building service for adults 18 and up), Ms. Harris Robertson manages the day to day operations of the program. She also fills the clinical function on both sides of the organization, providing clinical support, crisis intervention and response, clinical assessments, staff supervision and individual and group therapeutic services.

Ms. Harris Robertson obtained her Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University where she double majored in Sociology and African Studies. She obtained her Masters of Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, where she completed a double concentration in Management and Community Organization (MACO) and Clinical, with a specialization in Families and Children. She obtained her Masters of Public Administration from the University of Baltimore, where she majored in Strategic Planning and Public Accountability Systems.

Monica D. Lucas is a native of Richmond, Virginia.  She studies at Old Dominion University and Virginia Commonwealth University earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.  Ms. Lucas has worked in the mental health field for over 20 years both in the public and private sector.  Ms. Lucas has worked with a wide spectrum of individuals to include children, adolescents and adults, servicing their mental and emotional needs. S he previously owned a therapeutic group home for male adolescents prior to starting a human service consulting business called Lucas Concepts & Consulting.  Ms. Lucas has been a part of the Ithiel group since its inception in 2008. S he has served in multiple capacities and currently coordinates all training for new and seasoned staff.

Dr. Takisha Robinson joined the Ithiel team in 2013 as the medical consultant for the Harrison House. She offers medical support to the staff and clients of by way of regular wellness checks and general health advisement.

Dr. Robinson received her Medical Degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and she is currently completing her residency in Family Medicine at the Eastern Virginia Medical School.
