Any adult who is has been diagnosed with a mental health problem and is experiencing difficulty managing daily life is eligible to receive assistance from Community Mental Health Services. Click here for a referral form.

Mental health support professionals will come to you where you are living in the community to provide assistance. You do not need transportation to receive services.
3. 18 years old
Any adult 18 years old or older qualifies for our program. There is no upper age limit for services. At this time, we do not provide services for minors.

Our mental health support professionals travel throughout the state of Virginia to provide services. Any adult living in Virginia who meets the other admission criteria is eligible for services.

Applying to the Harrison House is as easy as a phone call to our program manager. They will schedule a tour for you to view the homes with available living quarters. There is a paper application available upon request to the program manager. Click here to schedule a tour.

Absolutely! Families and loved ones are welcome at the Harrison. House. Currently some of our client’s go home to visit their families for regular visits, and other for special occasions. Family visit to the Harrison House are welcomed as well.

Yes! The Harrison House has a diverse group of resident living in all facilities. Both male and female clients are welcome. We also have various ethnicities, ages, and functional levels represented.

We have an inclusive philosophy when is come to our client’s health needs. We welcome clients with intellectual disabilities and wide-ranging mental health diagnoses. We are equipped to support clients with simple to complex medical needs. All clients must have some documentation to prove they do not have any communicable disease that would potentially present harm to the home or other clients in the shared living facility., such as Tuberculosis screening.
